THE UNION THEATRE

204 UNION STREET

LONDON

SE1 0LX

BOX OFFICE:  020 7261 9876

Every year Michael Johnstone dedicates an award to his favorite actors from the Union Theatre.  These awards are in memory of his late partner Craig Dodd, a much loved Union regular. We are privileged and thankful of his support of the theatre and these young talented actors.

Craig Dodd, writer, book designer and ballet critic, first came to The Union Theatre in 2008 to see 'The Pajama Game'. He became one of it's most enthusiastic fans and maintained that what he saw there was better by far than much of what the West End could offer. In March 2010, thanks to Sasha and her team, he hosted his 70th birthday party at The Union, before; during and after a performance of 'Once Upon A Time at The Adelphi' and later the same year he was there for what turned out to be his last visit to a theatre to see 'Bells Are Ringing'. He died a few weeks later.
